Great book! I have been reading the Kindle version of Part 1 for a few days now and it is always calling me back to it. No exaggeration. Even right now, I can't wait to read more when I get a chance. I read some of it to my husband and told him I wanted to buy a couple of paperback copies for when our two sons get older. He decided he wanted me to order one copy of both parts 1 and 2 for him and he'd pass his copies along to them. So that's what I did yesterday and they arrived today.There are a few typos throughout the Kindle version but nothing that takes away from the real message.Flipping through the paperback of Part 1, it looks much better formatted versus the Kindle. Of course, that's to be expected. Definitely if you want everything in its place and some interesting imagery/illustrations, you'll want the paperback version. I'm cool with either one. I just want the knowledge and tools he provides, of which there is an abundance!We both come from the hood so reading through it so far there's A LOT that we just naturally "get" and even have some experience with. However, there's SO much knowledge and information packed in part 1 that I was not privy to and that just intrigues me even more.I've actually been following Supreme Understanding for many years on social media and had been wanting to order a few of his books for so long so imagine my delight to finally be here.Bless up 47 year old jewish white guy here. I really liked this book. Supreme Understanding drops Street Knowledge. I knew of these types of guys when I was into the Hip Hop scene in NYC during the 80's. They are highly intelligent and sharp as a knife. Oppressed Black and Brown people are some of the most highly intelligent people on this planet. They just need to channel their energy in the right direction. It is sad to see people with so much potential lose faith due to the system being the way it is. I won't go into it here but I also suffered similar obstacles in my youth growing up under the same system. I was one of those white guys that identified with oppressed people and for good reason. My response was becoming a nuisance to society and a rebel. It did nothing for me but darn it felt good ! I am still working at being complete....yeah even at 47. This book was fun to read and extremely informative. There are some racial overtones but that is life as we know it. If you can't handle it then read a different book.I am passing this book down to a retired white school teacher who used to work with children in Compton. He will appreciate it.
